Write events, dialogue and thoughts that reflect the changes in Macbeth in Act I.
He starts to change from the time the witches tell him that he will be thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis, and King. He starts to think if that is a good thing why is he so nervous and feels bad, but if it is bad then why he had been given a good position. He also says that it feels good to be in that position but can just imagine how he got does positions, by murderer or if the thane dies, but at the same time says that even if it was by that means he feels good having that position.
“Glamis, and Thane of Cawdor: The greates is behind.”
“My thought, whose murder yet is but fantastical, shakes so my single state of man that function Is smothered in surmise, and nothing is but what is not”
Write attributes of his good side (The Good Macbeth) and attributes of his evil side (The Evil Macbeth).
The good attributes he has are that he is very brave. He never fears anythig. He is very sure of himself.
His evil attributes are that he wants power no matter by what means. He is way to much ambitious.
Write events, thoughts, or dialogue that are neutral or ambiguous.
Macbeth and LadyMacbeth: “The rest is labort , which is not used for you ill be myself the harbinger and make joyful the hearing of my wife with your aproach so humbly take my leave.”
Do you think Macbeth would have changed if the witches had not appeared? Explain.
He would have surely changes because if the withces would not have appeared he would not have been informed that in the future he would become king. If he would not have heard this he would not have been controlled by ambition. He would surely only have stayed with his positions as Thane of Glamis and Thane of Cawdor and never try to be king.
Do you think most people are as susceptible to temptation as Macbeth? Explain why or why not.
It think most of people are as susceptible as Macbeth to temptations because that is human nature. When they see something they can use in their benefit they try to take it by whatever means. There are a few exceptions. There are certain people who have their moral bases realy strong and live their lifes in base to it. They would never become kings by killing other people. Maybe Macbeth had a little more temptations because the first thing he heard from the witches became true so then to become king would have also to be true but still I think most of the people are susceptible to temptations.
